NE Ohio Buddy Walk Saturday in Cleveland

The 2011 Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk will take place Saturday at Progressive Field, 2401 Ontario St. The wheel-friendly, one-mile walk around the ballpark in support of all people with Down syndrome will be followed by food, fun and the Down syndrome awareness fair.

Registration is $15 per person. Participants are encouraged to seek donations from family, friends and co-workers. Registration opens at 9 a.m.; opening ceremonies are at 9:40 and the walks starts at 10. Post-event activities are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Gateway Plaza.
