Medical examiner: Youth, 14, fatally shot

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy dead and a second teen wounded in Pittsburgh.

The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office tells WTAE-TV a 14-year-old Stephon Smith was killed late Wednesday night.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports a 19-year-old man was listed in critical condition after police say he was shot several times.

Investigators say officers searched a nearby apartment and an abandoned church but couldn’t locate the shooter.
