The Brookfield Local School District will have a dedication and open house Saturday for the new K-12 schools complex at 614 Bedford Road.

The event kicks off with a cornerstone ceremony at 2 p.m.

At approximately 3 p.m., Brookfield school-board members and Superintendent Tim Saxton will address the attendees. Also attending and speaking will be state Sen. Capri Cafaro and state Rep. Sean O’Brien.

At 3:30 p.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place, and the building will be open for public viewing.

A reception with light refreshments will be in the complex cafeteria. The entire complex and classroom areas will be open to public viewing.

General parking for the event will be in the complex’s upper parking lot, with overflow parking offered by Tiffany’s Banquet Center, which is directly across the street.
