Alzheimer's chapter thanks store employees

During the two-day event, May 13-14, Bankers employees and volunteers collected donations and handed out forget-me-not seeds, and cashiers at eight Save-A-Lot stores and IGA Supermarkets owned by Henry Nemenz, and two Save-A-Lots owner by Richard Stacey, sold paper forget-me-nots. More than $5,000 was presented to the local Alzheimer’s chapter. The national Association operates a toll-free nationwide helpline for families and caregivers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-272-3900.
