NY boy dies in electric bike crash in Pa.

LACEYVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Officials say a 7-year-old New York boy is dead after crashing an electric motorcycle at a northeastern Pennsylvania campground.

Wyoming County Deputy Coroner Alan Thatcher says Micah Angel of Vestal, N.Y., died Saturday of massive neck and head trauma.

Authorities tell The Times-Tribune of Scranton the boy had taken the electric motorcycle without permission while staying at the Slumber Valley Campground in Meshoppen Township. His body was discovered down a steep creek bank after he apparently ran off the road.

The Times-Tribune report said witnesses spotted the boy riding along the same roadway earlier in the day.
