Ministry seeking funding support, donations

SALINEVILLE

A local Christian ministry is looking to partner with area organizations to better the lives of troubled boys.

Youth With A Purpose Boys’ Home Inc. seeks funding support and donations to continue its programs, which include counseling and community service.

Robert and Kate Moore founded the non-denominational Christian ministry in 1995 on an 86-acre farm in Salineville.

The group, which receives no government funding, has served more than 200 at-risk boys between the ages of 8 and 17.

In the past, the organization has received the Robert E. Torgler award from Carroll & Tuscarawas County Community Mental Healthcare, Inc. for outstanding accomplishments in community service.
