Women’s right to vote to be celebrated Aug. 26

The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will present a celebration of the 91st anniversary of the 19th amendment giving American women the right to vote Aug. 26.

The public is invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the event at noon in the Women’s Park.

Keynote speaker will be author/playwright Jeanne Bryner. Fashions of the era will be shown, and refreshments will be served afterward outside the historic Kinsman House.
