What’s missing in Washington is true representation for the people

No representation — that’s what we have from the House and the Senate. Republicans think they have all the answers and if the Democrats come up with something it’s “no” from the Republicans. John Boehner acts like he’s the president. I think he’s been in the tanning bed too long.

They all gave themselves raises of $7,000 and $8,000 the past two years. The people on S.S. didn’t get a raise in their checks because the cost of living didn’t go up. Why then did they give themselves raises

They’re out of control. They get pensions after serving a few terms. They have the best of everything, from medical on down. None of them represent us, only themselves.

Most congressmen and senators have been in government 20 or 30 years. They’ve had all that time to straighten everything out. Instead they’ve kept spending, not thinking of the consequences.

They only know us when they want our vote. How many people have said to you that they’re disgusted with our government? But what can we do?

This country needs a revolution. We need a million-plus march on Washington. These people need to get their heads out of their behinds and do what’s good for the country.

These congressmen and senators cost this country billions of dollars a year.

Let them pay for their own insurance, stop automatic pay raises, outlaw lobbyists and so on. Our part is to vote them all out of office. Let them point fingers at each other after they get voted out.

It’s not the president that makes these laws, it’s our rpresentatives and senators.

These people will all have to answer to a high power, someday.

God bless America
