“GLORIA: IN HER OWN WORDS” (9 p.m., HBO): This stellar profile of Gloria Steinem provides an up-close-and-personal examination of the feminist icon and her indelible mark on history. Directed by Emmy-winner Peter Kunhardt, the film has Steinem recollecting her childhood, her career as a reporter and her transformation into one of the key leaders of the women’s liberation movement in the 1970s. Archival footage is blended with recent interviews in Steinem’s Manhattan apartment to produce a vivid portrait.

“Deadly Sibling Rivalry” (9 p.m., Lifetime): In the new TV film, “Deadly Sibling Rivalry,” Charisma Carpenter (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) plays a disturbed woman who assumes her twin sister’s identity after her sibling falls into a coma after a car crash.

“The Lying Game” (9 p.m., ABC Family): TV seems to have a thing for mysterious, identity-swapping twins these days. “The Lying Game” is a new drama series in which long-lost twins (played by Alexandra Chando) meet for the first time.

Photo art book competes for award

A photographic art book by Alexander Stulock of Boardman is in the running for a Photography Book Now People’s Choice Award. Stulock’s book, “This Is Your Brain on Drugs,” features colorful and symmetrical abstract photographs that represent the brain under the influence of various drugs.

The book was picked from a pool of more than 2,000 to be a finalist in the Fine Art category. The winner will be decided by members of the Blurb online community and will receive a $1,500 prize.
