Scrappers-Cyclones postponed by rain

Sunday’s Mahoning Valley Scrappers game against the Brooklyn Cyclones was rained out at Eastwood Field.

No makeup date has been scheduled.

Tickets for the rained-out game may be exchanged for tickets to any of the Scrappers’ remaining eight home games. The remaining opponents and dates are: Auburn Doubledays, Aug. 23-25; Jamestown Jammers, Aug. 26-28; and Williamsport Crosscutters, Aug. 31-Sept. 1.

The Eastwood Field box office is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, call (330) 505-0000.

The New York-Penn League is idle today in preparation for Tuesday’s All-Star Game. The Scrappers’ season resumes on Wednesday with three games at Vermont followed by three games at Batavia.
