Police seek New Castle, Pa., man in robbery of exotic dancer
BIG BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — Police say they’re searching for the ex-boyfriend of an exotic dancer who was robbed after the man accosted her after hiding in the back of her sport-utility vehicle.
Police in Big Beaver say 29-year-old Larry Shaffer Jr., of New Castle, was hiding in the rear cargo area when the victim left the Club Escape Gentleman’s Club about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Shaffer hit 21-year-old Cara Metrocavige in the face and pushed his foot on the gas pedal in an attempt to gain control of the vehicle before she convinced Shaffer she’d drive him home. Instead, she drove back to the strip club and yelled for help, at which time Shaffer ran away with about $500 police say he stole from the woman.
Police today say he remains at large. Shaffer didn’t immediately return a call for comment.
