Time capsule opening set for Community Day

A 1976 time capsule will be unearthed and its contents displayed Aug. 21 at the first Bazetta Community Day at Bazetta Township Park.

The event also will include the Mark Thomas Ford work truck show, with awards to be presented in two categories, Show & Shine and Rough & Tough; a corn hole tournament, Frisbee toss and longest Frisbee throw contests; musical entertainment; vendors; kids’ face-painting; and free hot dogs, hamburgers, soda and water.
