The marriage of Nicole M. Henrich and Tod S. Lavanty, both of Minneapolis, was solemnized May 14 in the Cathedral of St. Paul.
The Rev. Mike Tegeder officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at the Minnesota History Center before the couple left for a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii.
They are living in Minneapolis.
The bride, the daughter of Dave and Fran Henrich of St. Peter, Minn., is a physical therapist at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Edina, Minn., after earning a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
The groom, the son of Sam and Kathy Lavanty of Poland, is promotions writer/producer/editor for Fox Sports in Minneapolis, after earning a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Youngstown State University.
The bride wore a white strapless A-line gown enhanced with beading, a lace-up back and a cathedral-length veil.
Her attendants, in blue, were Michelle Spady, as matron of honor, and bridesmaids Amy Berger; Amy Levi-Haim, the groom’s sister; Christina Sample; and Kim Erdel, the groom’s sister.
Best man to the groom was Bob Kane; groomsmen were Nate Orosz, Chad Henrich, the bride’s brother, and Ric Patrick; and ushers were the groom’s cousins, Brent Gallas and Gary Harris, and the bride’s cousins, Corey Henrich and Jared Henrich.
