NAGOYA, JAPAN

Mina Senga, daughter of Senga San Yoshiki and Tomoko of Gamagori, Japan, and Zac Liptak, son of Ron and Connie Liptak of Poland, exchanged wedding vows July 9 in Nunoike Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul before nine friends and family.

The bride wore a white satin and lace gown and a mantilla veil. She was attended by her sister, Miho Senga.

The groom’s brother, Dr. Jude Liptak, was best man.

The bride holds a degree in French from Nanzan University in Nagoya, where the groom earned a degree in Japanese language and culture. He also holds undergraduate degrees in physics and Japanese from the University of Notre Dame and currently is a third-year doctoral student in physics at the University of Texas.

The couple are living in Austin, Texas, after a honeymoon in Singapore and Malaysia.
