First Beaver Creek car, bike, truck show
EAST LIVERPOOL
Friends of Beaver Creek State Park are hosting their first car, bike and truck show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 21 in Pioneer Village, 10201 Echo Dell Road.
A pancake and sausage breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon, and Chef D’s will provide food from noon to 3 p.m.
Entry fee is $5 for each show vehicle.
The first 50 vehicles will receive a dash plaque with the name and date of the show. Spectators will vote for the winning vehicles.
The event also will include a basket auction, a 50/50 drawing, and music by Stealth DJ. Volunteers are welcome.
The event has been planned by Friends members Mary Duris, who also is Pioneer Village treasurer, and her husband Wayne, who helps maintain the Village buildings. The couple have been collecting and restoring motorcycles since they began riding together in the early 1980s.
The park is one of three Ohio state parks to have a wild and scenic river.
