Fire destroys home on Egypt Road

Firefighters said the residence at 126 Egypt Road appears to be a complete loss after a flames engulfed it early Saturday. Firefighters from Leetonia, Green Township, Perry Township and Salem responded to the fire which began at about 1:50 a.m. Crews didn’t leave the scene until 6:39 a.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials said Saturday night.
