Fitch boys golfers win season-opener

The Fitch boys golf team opened the season with a 169-198 victory over Liberty on Monday.

Austintown’s Adam Catauro and Brian Basista shared medalist honors after shooting a score of 40. Matt Matasy fired a 42 nd teammate Vince Goleno carded a 47.

Liberty was paced by a 47 from Michael Chizmar.

Fitch football tickets on sale

Fitch football season tickets will go on sale Wednesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the South Circle Ticket Office at the school. The price is $30 for five home games and senior citizens (62 and over) may purchase a package for $25.

Individual ticket prices for the 2011 season are $7 reserved, $6 general admission and $4 student (presale only).

Those interested may also mail a season ticket request form with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to 4560 Falcon Drive, Austintown, OH 44515 and your tickets directly to you.

Season tickets on sale for YSU football

Youngstown State football season tickets are on sale.

General admission seats are located in sections 1 and 7 of the west stands.

YSU plays six home games this fall with the opener on Sept. 10.
