Youngstown YWCA hosts power plant technology careers program Aug. 17

YOUNGSTOWN — The YWCA of Youngstown, in partnership with the Youngstown State University Power Plant Technology Program, will host a free orientation session on good-paying and stable career options in the power plant technology field.

The session will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at the YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Ave.

Speakers will cover current and future industry trends, how power plants operate and why there is a need for an educated work force.
