Valley artist’s work chosen for exhibition

Brigitta Hanzely of Poland has had a painting selected for the 34th annual Juried Ohio Watercolor Society Exhibition, Watercolor Ohio 2011, at the Zanesville Museum of Art, 620 Military Road.

The exhibition opens Sept. 17 and runs through Nov. 23.

The highly competitive juried show attracts hundreds of entries. Of the 237 entries this year, 65 were chosen, including Hanzely’s.

A touring exhibition that includes all award winners will tour Ohio after the conclusion of the exhibition.
