Oldest Bible record wins membership

EAST PALESTINE

East Palestine Area Historical Society invites area residents to an evening at East Palestine Memorial Public Library at 6 p.m. Thursday. Speaker for the evening will be Linda McElroy of the Columbiana County Archives and Research Center, 129 S. Market St., Lisbon, who will provide information about the many resources available at the center.

The person bringing in the oldest family Bible record to be copied will receive a one-year membership to the Archives.

Light refreshments will be served, using recipes in the historical society’s recently published cookbook.
