Woman’s Equality Day film set for library

YOUNGSTOWN

In honor of Women’s Equality Day, Aug. 26 — the anniversary of the day American women were granted the right to vote in 1920, the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will show the film “Iron Jawed Angels,” which depicts the suffrage movement leading up to that day.

The film will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at Newport Library, Market Street, and is free and open to the public.
