St. Patrick Church was the setting June 11 for the afternoon wedding of Amanda Prommersberger, daughter of Lorinda Nespeca and James and Gina Prommersberger, and Sean McAllen, son of Mark and Diane McAllen, all of Hubbard.

The Rev. Timothy O’Neill officiated at the ceremony and a reception followed at Mahoning Country Club in Girard before the couple left for a Caribbean honeymoon in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The bride wore a pale ivory A-line satin corset-style gown encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

Attending her in blue gowns were her sister, Victoria Prommersberger, as maid of honor, bridesmaids Makenzie Prommersberger, another sister; Shannon Horner, the groom’s sister; Sarah Schroeder, Beth Francis and Ericka Cast; and flower girl Sydney Flowers, the groom’s cousin.

Best man to the groom was his brother, Mark McAllen; and groomsmen were his cousin, Robbie Sullivan; his brother-in-law, Brian Horner; Matt Silvidi, Scott Patterson and Will Panning. The bride’s brothers, Jimmy, Nicholas and Anthony Prommersberger, served as ring bearers.

The bride is a registered nurse in the intermediate coronary unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center after earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University.

The groom is a carpenter for the A.G. DeSantis Co. in Hubbard after graduating from the Northeast Ohio Joint Apprenticeship Training Center.

The couple are living in Hubbard.
