Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., painting class ($5) and blood pressure checks at 9:30, bingo at 10, and lunch and Health Fair with medical screenings and information at 11:30; Tuesday, computer practice at 9:30 a.m., bridge club and Zumba at 10:30, lunch at 11:30; bingo at noon and movie night (“Bruce Almighty”) at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Walking Club and health insurance assistance at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, lunch at 11:30 and tai chi at noon; Thursday, trip to Kent State Fashion Museum and Aurora Farms at 9 a.m., yoga at 9:30, computer class at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo and a discussion group at 10, lunch at 11:30 and beginner computer class at noon. Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program offers a certified instructor to provide a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Classes will take place at the following: Cortland SCOPE, noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 11; and West Farmington Senior Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23. Call 330-675-3033 or 330-469-4850 to reserve your spot.
