60-Plus Club of St. Brendan Church will meet for an annual summer picnic at 1:15 p.m. Monday with the officers, Ann Smith, Dorothy Procik and Dorothy LoSasso, presiding. Cards and bingo will follow. Members are asked to report illnesses and deaths to Theresa Vivacqua at 330-793-2792.

Golden Pillars will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, after an 11 a.m. liturgy. Mary Novak will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Members are asked to take their own table service for the luncheon.

J.C. Penney Retirees will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Barbara Burnside will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors Citizens will meet for an annual picnic Wednesday at the church after the noon Mass. Call John Mascardine at 330-534-5722 to make reservations. Guests are welcome.

Sears Friendship Club will meet at noon Monday at Jean Orrin’s condo for the annual picnic.

St. Anthony Senior Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeMarinis Hall. No lunch will be available, so those attending should take their own lunch. Coffee will be available at noon.

St. Joseph Goldenagers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall with Evelyn Menaldi presiding and Carol McClain giving the thought of the day. The secretary will give reports. Members are asked to take a sack lunch; refreshments will be served. Cards will be played, a 50-50 raffle will take place, and birthdays and anniversaries will be honored. Wishes will be sent to sick members.

St. Rose Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amen Corner for pizza and coffee.

UFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Boardman Park. Reservations were required for the catered picnic. The next regular membership meeting will be Sept. 13.
