Men’s Garden Club plans show

YOUNGSTOWN

The 47th annual horticulture show of the Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown is set for Aug. 27-28 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Mill Creek Park’s Fellows Riverside Gardens.

It is free and open to the public.

A youth gardeners division is open to gardeners age 16 and younger.

Show schedules are available at the Fellows Information Kiosk and provide information on the requirements and qualifications needed by exhibitors. They also explain how awards can be earned and give tips on how to show your entries.

Registration is from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Judging begins at 11 a.m. Aug. 27, and awards will be presented at 4 p.m. Aug. 28.

Public viewing is from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 27 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 28.
