Neighbors | Submitted.Poland Rotary Car Show Chairman Matt Bodine along with Poland Firemen’s Association vice- president Keith Giancola join Rotary president Steve Zentko and association treasurer Don Zimmerman in planning the second annual Poland Rotary Car/Bike Show on Aug. 14. Proceeds will benefit the Firemen’s Association.

The 2011 edition of the Poland Rotary Car and Bike Show is set for Aug. 14 at the former Save-A-Lot parking lot, 3131 Center Road (Route 224) in Poland.

The show will be from 6 to 9 p.m.

In addition to the car show, which will feature antique cars and muscle cars as well as custom and street motorcycles, there will be music and food.

An addition this year will be fire trucks, kids’ slides and more.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Poland Firemen’s Association.

The association assists with fire education, training and equipment for the Western Reserve Fire District and also supports families in need,

Co-sponsors of the event include Poland Handel’s Ice Cream and Belleria Pizza of Poland, both of which are adjacent to the site of the show.

Registration per bike/car is $5. Any additional donations will benefit the Firemen’s Association.
