Swimmers from the Boardman Tennis and Swim Club recently broke pool records during a home meet against the Canfield Swim Club.

All three records were in the 9 and 10 girls age group and broken by the same four girls. In the 100-meter medley relay, the quartet of Jennah Markovitch, Alison Kuras, Rebecca Choleva and Mikel Flatley broke an 11-year-old record by five seconds. They swam a 1:12.35 to eclipse the old mark of 1:17.35.

The team also set a new record in the 100-meter freestyle relay. The time of 1:05.05 broke the 9-year-old record of 1:05.20.

Flately added her third record of the day in the 25-meter breaststroke. Her time of 18.63 broke the record of 13.69, which had stood for 16 years.
