“torchwood: MIRACLE DAY” (10 P.M., STARZ): The gang goes undercover and learns the shocking truth about the so-called miracle. We’d say we’re dying to find out, but dying doesn’t seem to be an option on this show.

Youngstown native ends run on ‘Talent’

LOS ANGELES

Charles Peachock of Kent, and formerly of Youngstown, was eliminated Wednesday night in the quarterfinal round of NBC’s competition show “America’s Got Talent.”

The juggler lived in Youngstown as a child and moved to Kent with his family when he was in grade school.

On Tuesday’s “AGT” episode, Peachock played a piano by rapidly bouncing balls on the keyboard. However, two of the show’s judges — Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel — buzzed him. Only judge Piers Morgan, who is usually the hardest to please, was impressed with the performance.

On Wednesday’s show, the last of four spots to advance came down to Peachock and comedian Melissa Villasenor. Morgan voted for Peachock, but Osbourne and Mandel picked Villasenor.
