Rupert-Orr wedding planned in Columbiana

Kent and Jayne Rupert of New Springfield and Dennis and Lucille Orr of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their children, Rebecca Rupert of Vandalia, Ohio, and Douglas Orr of St. Louis, Mo.

The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana will be the site for the couple’s wedding, which will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 2.

A reception will follow, and invitations will be issued.

Miss Rupert earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in biology from Youngstown State University. She pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Wright State University in Dayton. She is employed by Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati as a product researcher.

Mr. Orr also earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in biology from YSU. He is working toward a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis.
