Yankee Lake event is cancer benefit

A fundraiser is scheduled Saturday for Brandy Buford, former employee of Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance who has Stage 4 breast cancer.

The event will take place at the Yankee Lake Ballroom on state Route 7 in Brookfield, and will include the R U Kidding band from 7 to 10 p.m., a DJ from 10 p.m to 2 a.m., games, prizes and more.

The entire $5 cover charge will be donated to help Brandy with medical expenses.

Cash donations can be made to the Brandy Buford Benefit Fund at any First National Bank of Mercer County office.
