Improvements funded at city’s Wick Park
YOUNGSTOWN
A $100,000 donation from the Youngstown Foundation will be used to make improvements to Wick Park on the city’s North Side.
The money will be used to replace concrete walk areas, make grading and drainage improvements, install steel-pipe swing gates and for lawn seeding.
The project, announced today, will begin shortly and finish by June 2012.
The city and various community organizations want to raise $2.8 million for improvements to the 34-acre park.
