Akron Children’s Boardman gets more than $1 million

As a residual beneficiary of the Kikel Charitable Trust, Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley today received $1,070,000 as the first distribution from the trust established by Angela, Josephine and Jenny Kikel of Boardman.

The donation was presented to the hospital by James H. Sisek, president and chief executive officer of Farmers Trust, which holds the Kikel Charitable Trust. The gift was accepted by William Considine, president and CEO of Akron Children’s Hospital, and Sharon Hrina, vice president of Mahoning Valley Enterprises.
