Search called off for fisherman who fell into Slippery Rock Creek

NEW CASTLE, Pa.

Rescue workers stopped searching for the evening Saturday for a man who’s missing after falling into Slippery Rock Creek at McConnell’s Mill State Park.

State police reported that John Latulippe, 38, of Glenshaw, Pa., was fishing when he fell into the creek around 9 a.m. near the McConnell’s Mill Bridge.

He was last seen in the water near the bridge.
