Offering both efficiency and a lot of fun, Lloyd’s PTA Easter parties on April 14 offered quality time with the Easter bunny packaged into 15-minute long, room-by-room celebrations.

When Lloyd students return from their April 18-24 spring break, they’ll be preparing for state testing, so every moment to study was necessary before the holiday. As to not interrupt the hard work of the students for too long, the Lloyd PTA created a mobile Easter celebration.

PTA event chair Jo Lynn Protopapa helped plan the event for the hard-working teachers and students.

“Today, we’re throwing individual class parties with games, snacks, drinks, the singing of Easter songs, and a little meet-and-greet with the Easter bunny. The teachers were able to pick a time for the party that works best for their classroom. It’s nice to offer ease for everyone as well as a celebratory mood,” Protopapa shared.

Along with meeting the Easter bunny, the kids received Easter treats provided by the PTA and sang holiday favorites like “Here Comes Peter Cottontail.”

The classes also enjoyed an egg relay, where each member of a team had to run to a basket of plastic eggs, find the note inside, and follow instructions from the note on how to get back to their team.
