Guard member died from single gunshot wound

MANSFIELD, Ohio
Authorities say an Ohio Air National Guard member whose body was found outside an armory at a base in Ohio died from a single gunshot wound.
Lt. Tony Bradshaw of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the man died Thursday morning outside the building at the 179th Airlift Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard in Mansfield. Base fire department personnel pronounced him dead shortly after 7 a.m.
Bradshaw said no foul play is suspected from the initial investigation.
He said authorities are trying to determine whether the shooting was an accident or suicide.
