Day in the park will benefit animals

TNR of Warren, Friends for Paws and Cats are People Too are hosting a day in the park from noon to 6 p.m. May 22 at the Packard Park Shelter House, 1703 Mahoning Ave.

A “spayghetti” dinner will be available for $10 per person. Kids under 6 can eat free.

Angels for Animals and the Animal Welfare League will be among the rescue groups in attendance, and vendors will be geared toward animals. A basket auction also is planned. All proceeds will fund spaying and neutering in Trumbull County. For information call 330-330-8166 or 330-847-6134.
