Alex Bison’s five-hitter included five strikeouts and three walks over five innings. Michael Raschilla had two home runs and a double and five RBIs to lead the Blue Devils, while Will Robison had two singles. Bison and Michael Schuller both knocked in two runs for the Blue Devils (4-8, 4-5 ITCL). Ryan Nagy had two singles for Jackson-Milton (2-7, 0-5).

Niles 14, Brookfield 8

Mike Watson had three hits and six RBIs for Niles (10-4, 1-3 AAC Red). J.E. Quinlan and Eric Martin had two hits apiece for Brookfield.

Lakeview 8, Harding 3

CORTLAND

Anthony Franco hit a two-run double in the third inning for the Bulldogs (7-5) who built an 8-2 lead entering the fourth frame.

Mathews 6, Grand Valley 4

ORWELL

Nate Homan struck out five during a four-hitter over three innings and he had two hits and two RBIs. Mitchel Lake also had two hits for Mathews (4-3, 3-1 NAC), which jumped out to a six-run lead after two innings. In the fourth, Tyler Hunt relieved Homan with two outs and runners on first and third before inducing a fly out to left field to end the threat. Hunt got the save by holding Grand Valley to one hit the last two innings. Hunt also had two RBIs.

Columbiana 7, Springfield 4

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Kyle Shaffer singled twice and Matt Douglas added a double for the Clippers (13-6, 8-3 ITCL). Josh Saverko and Luke Barker each drove in a pair of runs. Barker (5-1) and starter Jeff Davidson combined for eight strikeouts. Springfield (9-4, 9-1) was led by Cody Pitzo and Jason Horn with doubles.

Struthers 10, Hubbard 0

STRUTHERS

Joey DiLoreo tossed a one-hitter for Struthers (9-6). Joey Wilaj, Anthony Repp and Ryan Young all had two hits, with Repp and Young getting two RBIs each. Nick Gigas hit a double.

Crestview 6, East Palestine 1

Matt May had two hits and an RBI, Brandon Brooks had a double and an RBI and Logan Schaefer (1-1) had a four-hitter for the Rebels (8-4, 5-3 ITCL). Tyler Visnick had a hit and RBI for East Palestine.
