CANFIELD CITY
April 20
Warrant: Timothy Kjera, 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, was arrested on a mayor’s court warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.
April 21
Telecommunications harassment: A woman from the 400 block of Fairground Boulevard reported receiving at least 19 unwanted and harassing phone calls from an ex-boyfriend.
April 22
Fraudulent charges: $329.73 in fraudulent charges were reportedly made to a banking account by a resident in the 300 block of Callahan Street.
AUSTINTOWN
April 18
Fraud: Unauthorized credit and phone accounts were opened at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.
Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Brudders, 920 N.Canfield-Niles Road.
Identity theft: A man reported he tried to file his federal Income-tax return and was told someone else had used his name and Social Security number to file a return.
April 19
Criminal damaging: A front glass door was shot out with a BB gun at Austintown Sports Center, 5466 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A 14-carat gold ladies ring with diamonds was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Timberidge Drive.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at Northwestern Mutual, 55 N.Canfield-Niles Road.
Aggravated robbery: A man entered a business before it opened and took register drawers at Popeyes Chicken, 6073 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A garage was entered, and a vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: Two men and two women were involved in the theft of meat from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: Two men were involved in a fight at Alumo Manufacturing, 3749 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Steel beams were stolen at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.
Theft: Pressure gauges were stolen at Infocision, 5740 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: Two women stole items at Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road.
Domestic violence: Michael Smith,43, was arrested on a domestic violence charge at his home in the 3000 block of Sandalwood Lane.
April 20
Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was taken from a vacant residence in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.
Theft: A cellphone was taken at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A north classroom window was broken out at Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.
Auto conversion: A GM car being used by an employee was sold by the employee to a drug dealer, after the employee was arrested at Best Western, 870 N.Niles-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A 1996 BMW was stolen at McDonald’s, 1709 S. Raccoon Road.
Warrant: Mark Green, 43, of 4113 Westmont Drive was arrested on a warrant for child endangering.
Fraud: An ATM card was reported stolen and used at an unknown location.
April 21
Theft: Mail was taken at the U.S. Post office, 6000 Mahoning Ave. A man reported that two baseball cards valued at $600 total were taken out of mail his secretary picked up at the post office. The envelope the mail came in was cut open.
Breaking and entering: Copper wire was stolen from a structure in the 500 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: An excavator was rented and not returned at Leppo Equipment, 330 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A check was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto in the 50 block of Westminster Ave.
April 22
Fraud: A laptop computer was sold on eBay but the owner at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive received no money for it via Pay Pal.
Warrant: Silka Hilton, 21, 50 Westminster Drive, Apt. 2, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.
April 23
Theft: A front license plate was stolen from an auto at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Sixteen unauthorized charges for a total of $593.19 in gasoline were reported at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
Criminal damaging: Two “No Trespassing” signs were damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Finland Road.
April 24
Auto theft: A 2008 Toyota Sequoia was stolen at the Split Level, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: Police arrested Heidi Weaver, 30, 1005 Compass West, Apt. 1, on charges of theft of $64.58 in miscellaneous items from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were reported at a home in the 2000 block of N. Redgate Lane.
