Summer Stock 2011 Season, Kent Trumbull Theater, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. Auditions will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today in the lobby. The first show, “Pinocchio,” will take place in June, and auditioners should be age 10 to 17. “Miss Beatrix Potter Presents Mr. Peter Rabbit” has roles for age 8 to 17 and will be performed in July. Auditioners for “Footloose” should be age 14 or older, and singers should prepare a song. It will be performed in July. Summer acting classes for age 8 to 13 will take place for a fee of $45. “Cinderella,SDRq Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron. Auditions will be 5 to 8 p.m. May 22 and 4 to 7 p.m. May 23. Please call and sign up for an audition time. Auditions are by appointment only. Age limit for all roles is 7 to 18. Please prepare 32 bars from one musical-theater song, short one- to two-minute monologue. Tracy of “Hairspray,SDRq Fairview Arts & Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road, Youngstown. Top Hat Productions will have auditions at 7:30 p.m. May 9. Females auditioning will be judged on singing, dance, overall presentation and reading in character. Callbacks are May 12. A final contest with audience members using digital voting will help a panel of judges and the director name the winner and the star of the production May 20.
