Groups, troops to conduct cleanups

WARREN

One hundred and seven groups involving 8,399 volunteers in neighborhood groups, Scout troops and schools throughout Geauga and Trumbull counties will conduct cleanups as part of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup through Sunday.

It is coordinated locally by the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District.

Trumbull County cleanups scheduled are:

Today, Currie Elementary (Ridge Road, Fowler Township) “Going Green” Presentations to kindergarten students, distribution of cleanup supplies, 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Saturday, Howland Township Park, noon to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Kinsman Community Park, 9 a.m. to noon.

Saturday, Warren City, Quinby Park and Austin Avenue, 9 a.m.

Sunday, downtown Warren, Courthouse Square, 9 a.m.
