Parents reveal Lodyn-Oberle wedding plans

The engagement of Melanie Lynn Lodyn, daughter of Michael and Karen Lodyn of Boardman, and Michael Christopher Oberle, son of Christopher and Melissa Oberle of Youngstown, is announced by their parents.

Miss Lodyn graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher with Boardman Local Schools and at Sylvan Learning Center.

Mr. Oberle is a corrections officer at the Ohio State Penitentiary in Youngstown. He graduated magna cum laude from YSU with a degree in criminal justice and minor in corrections.

The couple have chosen July 23 for their afternoon wedding at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.
