19-year-old killed in crash on I-79

MERCER,Pa.

A teenager was killed in a one-car accident on Interstate 79, state police in Mercer said.

Ashley Harmon, 19, of Sharon, Pa., was northbound in Findley Township when the accident happened at 5:55 p.m. Monday.

Police said she lost control on a curve, traveled 200 feet and struck a group of trees.
