Hathorn outlines revitalization plan to Rotary

School system upgraded: Youngstown Schools Superintendent Dr. Connie Hathorn, the honored guest at the April 11 meeting of Austintown Rotary Club, discussed his revitalization plan to restructure the district. He said middle school students will encompass two sixth-and seventh-grade academies at Volney and Wilson, and P. Ross Berry will become an eighth- and ninth-grade academy. Interviews and/or auditions will be required for acceptance for the visual performing arts program and for acceptance in science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs.
