Spring concert

MERCER, Pa.

The Chamber Players of the Mercer County Historical Society, under the direction of Richard Konzen, will present its Spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel, 119 S. Pitt St.

The free concert will feature classical selections and will be followed by a reception in the Social Room.

A lasagna dinner will be served before the concert. Tickets are $5; call the MCHS at 724-662-3490 before April 27 for reservations.

With all the fun at Cedar Point slated to start in less than five weeks, now is the best time to buy and save big on a May visit to the Sandusky amusement park/resort.

Through Saturday, a single-day Spring Fever ticket can now be purchased online for only $31.99, a savings of $15.

A Spring Fever ticket can be used any day the park is open in May, including opening day May 14 and Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31, but tickets must be purchased online in April.

Tickets for juniors, age 3 and older, under 48 inches tall, and seniors, age 62 and older, are only $21. Children, age 2 and under, are free.

Cedar Point will be open daily May 14 through Labor Day, Sept. 5.
