MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, April 27: Roasted pork with gravy, seasoned potatoes, oriental mix veggies, cherry tomatoes, bread with margarine, cloud cake or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Thursday, April 28: Barbecue chicken strips, winter blend veggies, carrots, pears, bread, chocolate chip cookie or sponge cake, and milk.

Friday, April 29: Breaded fish on bun with tartar sauce, cut green beans, California blend vegetables, fresh banana, and milk.

Saturday, April 30: Chicken breast, coleslaw, pineapple juice, baby carrots, two slices of bread, orange, and milk.

Monday, May 2: Broiled chicken, red potatoes, peas and carrots, peaches, bun, apple cinnamon graham cracker, pineapple juice, and milk.

Tuesday, May 3: Cheese omelet, sausage patty, pancakes and syrup, reduced fat banana muffin, margarine, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, April 27: Breaded fish on a bun with tartar sauce, spinach, creamed corn, pineapple tidbits, and milk.

Thursday, April 28: Salisbury steak with gravy, cheesy mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, wheat bread with margarine, pears, and milk.

Friday, April 29: Vegetable lasagna, diced carrots, Italian bread with margarine, hot fruit mix, apple juice, and milk.

Monday, May 2: Meatball splash on a hot dog bun, rice pilaf, peas, peaches, golden apple, and milk.

Tuesday, May 3: Creamed chicken, mashed potatoes, California mix, corn muffin, mandarin oranges, and milk.
