Jessica Bryer of Lowellville and James Tressa of Poland were united in marriage in a 6 p.m. ceremony Oct. 19, 2010, at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

After honeymooning in Punta Cana, the couple were honored during a postnuptial reception Nov. 12 at The Georgetown in Boardman.

The daughter of Ed and Marie Bryer of Lowellville and son of James Tressa of Lowellville and Lillian Mercado of Youngstown, the couple live in Mineral Ridge.

The bride’s white silk gown featured a portrait neckline and the skirt flowed into a sweep train.

A bright orange gown was worn by Laura Bryer, the bride’s sister and honor attendant. Wearing hot pink gowns were the bridesmaids, Linda Carbon, a sister of the groom, Taylor Gooch, his niece; Julie Iudiciani; and Brenna Ross.

The duties of best man were performed by Gary Walkama, and groomsmen were Anthony Donnadio, Ben McGawan and Adam Miller.

Mrs. Tressa graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree. She is a preschool teacher with the Potential Development Program in Youngstown.

Mr. Tressa is a construction superintendent with Allega Construction Management of Cleveland. He also graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree.
