Poland youth soccer to hold sign-ups

Registration for the Poland Youth Soccer Association will be May 1 and May 7 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Dobbins Elementary gym.

Age eligibility is from 5 years to 12th grade for girls and boys. The registration fee is $60 for the first child and $55 for each additional child.

Boys and girls will play during September and October. Games for grade eight and under will be played on Saturdays and grades nine through 12 will play on Sundays.

The soccer association is celebrating 30 years of dedication to youth soccer.

Hit the ball and help St. Dominic’s

St. Dominic’s will host a golf tournament June 6 at the Tippecanoe Country Club. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. tee time.

The cost is $85 per person and includes 18 holes with cart, coffee and danish, boxed lunch, dinner and tee gift.

Dinner-only tickets are available for $30.

Team prizes will be awarded for first through third place. Hole events will include closest to the pin and long putts. A 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction will be available.
