Mooney fundraiser will be May 6

The eighth annual Cardinal Mooney “Continue the Tradition” auction will be May 6 in the school gymnasium.

Proceeds are used to support the academic program of the school. The event includes more than 500 items in live, silent and Chinese auctions.

Tickets are being sold for a raffle featuring a three-night trip to Las Vegas with lodging at The Cosmopolitan.

New to the auction this year is “Baubels and Bubbles,” a drawing which guarantees a one-in-three chance of winning a valuable gemstone and a grand prize of a nearly $4,000 white gold diamond pendant, sponsored by Komara’s Jewelers.

A catalog featuring nearly 600 items up for bid will be distributed to ticket holders a week prior to the auction.
