Police seeking information on hit-and-run in Hermitage

HERMITAGE, Pa.

Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian. Johnelle M. Houck, 33, of Parke Drive in Hermitage was crossing the traffic-way near the M&M Beer Distributor in the Towne Plaza at 7 p.m. Thursday when she was struck by a dark-colored, newer-model sedan operated by a young white man, police said.

The man drove off.

His car has damage to the passenger-side mirror, which was broken off and left at the scene.

Houck suffered serious injuries and was taken to UPMC Farrell Hospital.
