Western Pa. school under construction catches fire
MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) — A new high school under construction has caught fire near Pittsburgh.
But firefighters say the blaze at the new Montour High School in Robinson Township has been brought under control. Officials at the scene believe the blaze may be related to some welding crews were doing on the building’s roof.
No students attend the school and no injuries have been reported.
It was not immediately clear when the new school was set to open. District officials could not immediately be reached for comment today, when the fire was reported about 12:30 p.m.
